Job Description:

The Associate Director EMEA Pricing and Market Access Hematology Oncology will support Celgene's marketed products as well as future disease indications. Focus of this role will be the Oncology Celgene portfolio and immediately, on preparation of a new launch.
He/she will be a key EMEA Pricing and Market access lead, essential member of the Oncology Disease team, collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

This position is responsible for the development of market access approaches, creation and implementation of pricing and reimbursement strategies across the EMEA region. He/she will work in close collaboration with Global and local pricing and reimbursement affiliate team members, EMEA disease teams, EMEA government affairs, Medical Affairs, Regulatory and other functional areas.

This position, within Celgene's matrix organization, will also be reporting to Executive Director, Pricing and Market Access EMEA and a successful candidate will be a member of EMEA Pricing and Market Access functional team.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Ensure that globally aligned EMEA pricing and market access strategy is successfully developed and implemented across the EMEA region by:
- Driving the EMEA pricing and market access strategy for new and marketed products
- Having an in-depth understanding of changing pricing and reimbursement environment, processes, and policies of key EMEA markets
- Gaining EMEA payer insights through payer research and/or payer advisory boards
- Evaluating opportunities for innovative reimbursement agreements/risk sharing agreements in key EMEA markets
- Providing EMEA consolidated feedbacks to Global P&MA team to actively influence global P&R strategy
- Ensuring timely full matrix review and endorsement
- Reporting progress and maintaining effective communication across the team regarding strategy execution e.g. issues and risks, milestones, etc.
This position serves as a key resource to lead and facilitate local P&MA strategy development and implementation in EMEA countries. He/she will provide analytical, strategic, and financial leadership and project management support to help local P&MA affiliates in EMEA to:
- Conduct local payer research projects
- Drive stakeholder engagement in co-creating patient oriented solutions
- Create local P&MA strategy and achieve final approval
- Adapt global value dossier (GVD) and create local P&R dossier
- Facilitate local pricing and reimbursement negotiation with payers
- Drive EMEA country launch sequence across the region

Job Requirements:


- 8+ years experience of working in complex environment related to Pricing & Reimbursement at the regional or local level in pharmaceutical companies or health care consultancy companies
- A bachelor or advanced degree in economics, business administration, health policy or another relevant area.
- Expertise in launching new products in Pharma industry
- Knowledge of other functions including medical and regulatory
- Demonstrated leadership in navigating through, influencing and delivering results in a matrix organization across different levels of management.
- Hematology / Oncology expertise would be an advantage
- Ideally professional experience in several countries in operational structures (subsidiaries) and/or in international/global headquarters.
- Familiarity with EMEA reimbursement systems.

- Excellent business English skills, with first-rate communication abilities in both written and verbal form
- Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively on complex or technical content in a convincing way to non-technical audiences.
