Job Description:

The Associate Director, Payer Engagement will support the Regional Market Access team in Latin America by: (I) managing assigned aspects of the Latin America payer reimbursement, government/institutional engagement, and/or health policy agendas, (ii) representing regional payer needs, and (iii) communicating about the payer planning process. He/she will work collaboratively across functions to ensure a comprehensive view of the product and create and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders in target Latin American countries. These stakeholders include Government and Public Affairs, Global Product Leads, Affiliate Market Access, Pricing & Reimbursement Strategy teams, Marketing, Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Regulatory, and Commercial Operations.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

? Champion the payer perspective and drive thisinto brand strategy and implementation.
? Maintains constructive dialogue with key regional and national decision-makers and advisors who influence reimbursement and associated health policies.
? Create and maintain expertise in payer regulation and priorities across major countries / archetypes in the region.
? Design, support and implement a range of appropriate payer collaborations and innovative stakeholder engagements.
? Drives expansion of access to new segments otherwise not covered under current reimbursement.
? Shapes healthcare environment for new funding sources in the face of future pipeline assets.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications? Graduate/College degree in medical or pharmaceutical sciences, economics or business. ? Understanding of healthcare market dynamics, policy drivers, and access pathways across Latin America. ? Knowledge of the needs and expectations of regional payers, insurers and commercial customers in Latin American markets. ? Experience of developing concise and audience-focused communications, both written and for presentation. ? Experience of leading cross-functional teams to deliver and communicate innovative customer solutions based on detailed customer insights. ? Track record of maintaining professional relationships with key payer decision-makers ? At least 5 years of relevant industry/consulting experience ? Spanish speaker preferred Education? Graduate/College degree in medical or pharmaceutical sciences, economics or business.
