Job Description:

The commercial Supply Chain Life Cycle and Project Management office will be responsible for prioritization, oversight of tactical execution and project management for complex Supply Chain projects that involve multiple functional areas on global scale. The projects will involve a broad range of products within Biogen's commercial portfolio, spanning across the entire product lifecycle of both large and small molecules in the Specialty Medicines and Rare Diseases space. The position will also directly assist the Senior Director of Supply Chain modernization during optimization and enhancement of existing Commercial Supply Chain processes, procedures, and systems, along with providing support and leadership to Biogen's Global Change Control process and its effective management.

Additional responsibilities include:


- Define scope and business processes for Commercial Supply Chain Life Cycle Management, setting team vision, strategy, project prioritization, oversight and reporting within the Supply Chain team and beyond on project status, key milestones and deliverables.

- Partner with Quality and other relevant functions across Biogen's PO&T division during the transition phase that governs Global Change Controls and general Change Management business processes for changes that can have direct impact on end-to-end inventory levels for commercial assets

- Evaluate existing Procedures and department SOPs along with identification of gaps, modify the existing and create new procedures within Global Change Management that align with ongoing business transformation

- Partner with relevant functions within PO&T and Commercial Supply Chain to ensure appropriate operational and tactical support to both Line Functions and Matrix organizations from global product launches through product discontinuation across the end-to-end supply chain for Biogen's commercial portfolio

- Develop and implement the team's vision to maximize its value proposition within both Supply Chain and PO&T while assessing the necessary bandwidth and team capabilities, set the path for group's long term success and execute against it within the framework provided

Job Requirements:

Qualifications
- Extensive experience with at least 10 years of leading cross functional teams in broad and complex environment that require leadership within a matrix organization
- Diversified end-to-end Supply Chain experience with proven and demonstrated success track
- In-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with focus on Global Change Controls and general Change Management
- Manufacturing experience and in-depth knowledge of GMPs
- Deep experience in hands-on project management and supply chain product development and commercialization within the pharmaceutical/biotech space
- Strong cultural and business acumen in international setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Oracle Agile PLM is a key differentiator
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills and ability to effectively work across complex environment, both vertically and horizontally
- Minimum travel both domestically and internationally Education
- BS required
