Job Description:

Provide commercial strategic and analytical thought leadership for due diligence efforts across all existing and new therapeutic areas by working closely with Corporate Strategy and Business Development

- Provide commercial insight and market knowledge to opportunity assessments and asset valuations in support of external growth opportunities

- Present recommendation to Senior Commercial Leadership to gain commercial alignment for growth opportunity

Collaborate closely with Corporate Strategy group to develop proactive Disease Area Strategies in new disease areas

- Develop and communicate strong understanding of treatment protocols, level of unmet needs, potential patient segments, and competitive pipeline in order to identify targeted product concepts with necessary product profiles

- Direct / implement strategic commercial projects to inform disease area strategies

Collaborate with New Product Commercialization Program leads to provide strategic commercial leadership for pipeline assets in early, mid, and late-stage development

- Provide analytical support for strategic commercial projects to inform asset strategy and clinical development plans

Technical expert within NPC for:

- Forecasting methodologies

- Performing high level market situation assessments

- Managing internal teams or external vendors that conduct complex market research and forecasting projects for commercial assessments

Job Requirements:

QualificationsQualifications 7-10 years of pharmaceutical/biotech, new product planning experience and/or consulting, investment banking, market research experience that clearly demonstrates strategic thinking and deep analytics. Proven ability to influence in cross-functional settings a must. Must be a strong communicator, able to confidently present findings to top level executives, as well as able to represent the commercial perspective to senior members within different functions of the organization.
