Job Description:

The Sr. Auditor will help implement the Center of Competency testing model for Financial, Operational and IT audits, as well as SOX. In this role, the Sr. Auditor will have the opportunity to create and implement new processes, gain broad business exposure through various audits and interactions with company management and assume responsibility quickly. This individual will be responsible for the following under the direction of the Audit Manager in charge of the Center of Competency oversight:


- Plan and execute test plans of remediation actions related to higher and moderate risk audit observations across a wide array of financial, operational and IT audit areas. This will include performing process walk-throughs with business owners, identifying residual risk, developing audit programs and communicating testing results to the CoC Audit Manager. Additionally, the Sr. Auditor will assist the manager in implementing an enhanced audit remediation process as well as communicating the process to stakeholders.


- Plan and execute testing of international affiliate financial controls and processes including Revenue, Procure to Pay and Financial Statement Controls.


- Plan and test higher risk Sarbanes-Oxley control activities with potential to assume SOX testing project management responsibilities over time.


- Assist in the development of planning processes and activities as well as the development of the group's analytics program which are designed to identify trends and anomalies that facilitate efficient and effective testing strategies for all departmental audits.


- Manage 1-2 coops/interns who will support them on various projects


- Manage assignments within budgets and target dates and will have the opportunity to partake in International travel (estimated 10%)

Job Requirements:

Qualifications
- 2-4 years of financial statement auditing and/or accounting experience, Big Four experience preferred.
- Self-motivated individual looking for rapid assumption of increasing responsibility and career advancement
- Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization, including members of senior management.
- Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
- Detail oriented, able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of the Sarbanes - Oxley Act of 2002 and sections regarding internal control requirements
- Functional knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, General Accepted Auditing Standards and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and demonstrate the ability to work independently in lower to medium risk areas.
