Summary of Responsibilities

Senior level job which provides assistance to sales representatives, other sales personnel and external clients by answering toll free 800 phones lines, servicing a help desk or providing on-line support within IB Broker Dealer Operations.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Provides information on client's account balances, account histories, account maintenance fees, Broker Dealer policies, procedures and commissions, and other information.

  • Provides customers with detailed information on services, assistance regarding paperwork, and technical inquires.

  • Researches more complex questions and problems, provides resolution or escalates issues when appropriate.

  • Resolves most customer concerns and problems using established procedures.

  • Performs other duties when assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Provides guidance, training and quality review to lower level staff members

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ year of relevant business experience in opening new brokerage accounts in a financial industry

  • 3+ year of clerical experience

  • HS Diploma\GED

Qualifications Preferred

  • 3+ year of insurance experience

  • Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously

  • Able to work as part of a team

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and Access)

  • BA or equivalent business experience

  • High Attention to detail

  • NASD series 6 or 7 license

  • Excellent written and communication skills

  • Experience with Fidelity & NFS's Streetscape & Envestnet systems and/or Pershing NetX360 system a plus
