Job Description

Senior Single Sign On (SSO) / Federation Services Engineer will be responsible for the analysis, development, installation, modification and support of MetLife's access management solutions which in this case is CA's SiteMinder. This position requires a subject matter expert (SME) in SiteMinder's Single Sign On. You must have strong collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams and stakeholders to ensure business requirements are translated into specific application or system solutions while ensuring compliance with MetLife's Information Security policies and regulatory obligations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Serve as a project lead or project representative on a single phase, or on multiple phases of several projects involving SiteMinder.
  • Assist management in Effectively work with internal and external stakeholders to foster a collaborative working environment while ensuring SLA's are met or exceeded.
  • Evaluate proposed solution changes and approve as appropriate, or recommend solution changes as business needs dictate, making appropriate recommendations.
  • Provide leadership in the development of solution design specifications and deployment.
  • Creates both high level and detailed analyses, project plans, and other related documentation and procedures.
  • Proactively identifies technical and procedural areas of concern and proposes pragmatic solutions.
  • Provide leadership in Tier 3 troubleshooting.

Job Requirements:

Required experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred or equivalent work experience (12 years)
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or industry
  • 3+ years of experience with CA SiteMinder v12.x policy server and agent installation, configuration, and support or with similar Web Access Management (WAM) solutions.
  • Additionally, experience installing, configuring, and supporting web services using CA SiteMinder v12.x or with similar Web Access Management (WAM) solutions (e.g., AD FS, IBM TIM/TAM, Oracle OAM, etc.).
  • 3+ years of experience with CA SiteMinder Federation or with similar federation products (e.g., AD FS, PingFederate, etc.).
  • 2 + years of experience installing, configuring and supporting Apache, IBM HTTP Server (IHS), or Internet Information Services (IIS) web server software.

Preferred Experience

  • Ability to develop productive relationships with client and IT management, staff and vendors
  • Industry recognized security certification such as a CISSP or similar certification.
