Role Description

As a senior commercial analyst, you will be responsible for understanding how our customers' preferences and needs vary across markets and journeys - and for shaping how we deliver the optimal mix of products and prices to fulfil those needs. You will be based in the commercial department but you will need to work across all areas of the business as you support our ambitious growth agenda through 2016 and beyond.

Your role will cover all stages of the product development cycle:

  • Assess: Conduct complex analysis across multiple data sources to understand the key drivers of customer behaviour and product preferences
  • Innovate: Generate exciting new ideas in areas such as pricing, promotions, web display and customer offer
  • Problem Solve: Crack the analytical and business challenges to take your ideas from the white board to implementation - whether designing solutions or crunching the numbers
  • Engage: Build engagement with colleagues across all areas of the business to deliver your vision
  • Develop & Embed: Work with developers and commercial managers to deliver impact and real business change

Key Accountabilities

  • Execute complex quantitative analysis assessing customer choice and behaviour
  • Develop frameworks for assessing and prioritising commercial opportunities
  • Specify and prioritise requirements to deliver on our ambitious growth agenda through 2016 and beyond
  • Work effectively with diverse stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Provide coaching to junior commercial analysts
