As a Commercial Owner you are part of the product development teams within the Partner Services department. Your responsibility includes the quality and delivery of partner and department focused projects that lead to an increase in partner satisfaction, share growth and increase in customer experience. Our Partner Services teams are part of the B2B side of our business, focusing on the innovation and scalability of tooling, processes and features used by our increasing number of 800,000+ partners.

Working in conjunction with topic specialists you will constantly work on key product roadmaps find and test improvements to maximize the commercial impact. Your ability to drive innovation forward at a fast pace and respond quickly to available data and adapt rapidly is essential for success in this role.

Role Responsibilities

  • Innovate on commercial opportunities to empower our partners to win with Booking.com,
  • Optimize internal processes to give optimal service to our accommodation partners,
  • Field project teams to address opportunities,
  • Ownership, prioritization and briefing for projects of varying length and complexity,
  • Increase scalability and accelerate innovation of our business model,
  • Research and specify new B2B commercial offerings and enhancements to existing partner products,
  • Understand what industry changes are relevant and formulate what this means for Booking.com.
  • Liaise with product owners, researchers, data scientists and key company stakeholders to,
  • Achieve the optimal connection of products to partner needs
  • Understand where the internal organization can be strengthened
  • Understand how new / improved product offerings interact with other commercial developments.

Job Requirements:

Skills and Experience

  • An ability to translate business needs into business opportunities which can be executed in small steps, and prioritize them according to business value and impact,
  • Strong commercial focus and the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly,
  • Data driven, customer focused, proactive, creative and innovative,
  • Experience developing new commercial offerings in a B2B setting,
  • A proven track record of 5+ years at a web-based company,
  • Experience in the field of account management is a plus,
  • Pragmatic and results-focused, driven to manage projects full cycle,
  • Able to work well independently and within a team, good communication skills with a "can do" attitude toward problem solving,
  • Experience with the SCRUM methodology is a plus, but not required,
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus,
  • Strong networking skills,
  • Ability to clearly outline & present plan and future goals,
  • Open for input and feedback, while being able to influence people being challenged by change.
