The Regional Recruiting Manager is responsible for development and execution of the regional talent acquisition strategy, recruitment processes and analytics in addition to utilisation and performance of recruiting resources on the team. The role's primary charter is to pursue and deliver talent in support of business growth. Development of a strategy to include pipeline development via proactive sourcing, various events and social media investments is another key component of the role.

This role reports to the Head of HR for the EMEA region and functionally to the Global Head of Recruiting for Booking.com. Total team size of ~20 plus engagement and oversight of vendors as needed to address peak season demand.

  • Ensure team is on track against targets, deliverable and hiring manager are kept up to date on progress against goals. Data driven approach is a must.
  • Invests to improve the recruitment process in the organisation including application of metrics, measurement, reporting and taking action to close gaps.
  • Develop and implement high quality, innovative and cost effective sourcing strategies for commercial and service positions across the EMEA region.
  • Establish effective selection process and ensure adoption.
  • Invest to remain informed of market trends and recruiting practices.
  • Develops relationships with clients and stakeholders across the organisation plus deep business acumen and insight to inform decisions and resource allocation on team.
  • Oversees external recruitment agencies and vendors to supplement efforts of full time team.
  • Monitors and actively manages budget and recruiting investments.
  • Partner with headquarters team in Amsterdam to ensure alignment around global processes, systems, sourcing strategies, social media and employment branding.
  • Monitors labor legislation and implements required changes to ensure compliance.
  • Manages and develops members of the recruitment team.
  • Proactively share recruitment topics, progress, innovations and results.
  • Designs and delivers or assigns and prepares members of team to deliver training on recruitment, selection practices and other relevant topics.

Job Requirements:

B.successful

  • Seven years or more corporate recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment, a combination of technology, service or hospitality industry experience beneficial.
  • Leadership and managerial experience across a 10+ member team and multi-country geography.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with key stakeholders in execution of recruiting initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to leverage data to support a business case then pursues creative solutions.
  • Engaging and professional style that supports teamwork and putting others forward.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to influence and develop strong relationships.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and capable of adapting and responding to change.
  • Experience working in a globally matrixed environment.
  • Partners and influences senior leadership, is self-confident, and capable in building proactive and meaningful relationships throughout our global organisation.
  • Frequent domestic and international travel is to be expected in this role.
