The Director of Content Marketing will report to the Vice President of Marketing - Latin America, and will oversee marketing strategy for key titles, will provide feedback on creative assets and will also be in charge of selecting the best campaign materials for localization. This person will manage a team of project managers and producers working with top Digital creative and production shops in the region to adapt global campaigns to local needs. In partnership with local Marketing leads, the regional social media and Publicity/PR teams, the Director of Content Marketing will define key success metrics for all campaigns running in Latin America.

We would love to hear from people who are passionate about entertainment and digital marketing and who have experience working in a regional role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regional Marketing planning and strategy - you will work with local Marketing leads to define content strategy, select key titles and brief digital creative/media agencies. You will also be the regional voice providing feedback on global content creative.
  • Entertainment Marketing Strategy - you will support the local Marketing leads launching Netflix Originals series, movies, and documentaries in Latin America.
  • Digital creative and strategy - you will help define target audience and strategy using Digital as the primary channel for all Netflix launches in Latin America. This includes selection and development of assets for our campaigns for various digital platforms.
  • Localization and adaptation of campaigns - you will oversee the localization and adaptation of global campaign materials (i.e. video, digital assets, etc) to Latin American needs.
  • Work cross functionally with peers in PR, Social Media, Publicity, Business Development to assure campaign message is consistent across multi platforms in Latin America.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Natural team leadership skills with the ability to conceptualize and articulate a marketing strategy on a consistent basis.
  • Experience and passion for building great marketing programs and product launches preferably in the entertainment marketing space.
  • An ability to effectively provide input on creative development from a local and regional market perspective.
  • Experience managing highly motivated direct reports in an environment that embraces individual momentum rather than process driven group thinking.
  • Solid digital skills and fluency in the digital space with understanding of the various digital buying environments - paid social, reserve buys, native, programmatic, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in AB testing methodologies.
  • Strong level of independence and efficiency- Great communication and interpersonal skills- At least 10 years experience in a marketing role.
  • Experience working with or in Latin America region.
  • Fluent in Spanish (preferred) and in Portuguese.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Advanced degree (preferred).
