Position Description Position Summary : Reporting to the Regional Director of Marketing Hotels.com, the Marketing Manager is a key member of the team supporting all the marketing initiatives driving business growth for the APAC region for the Hotels.com websites (specific responsibility covers Australia and New Zealand). This role is responsible for coordinating the offline and online marketing initiatives that build awareness of our brand and drive qualified shoppers to our sites, above the line, through the line and below the line activities. Key areas of responsibility: Work with the Merchandising Team on the merchandising calendar and align advertising schedule. Day to day management and optimization of online and offline campaigns, including planning, creative execution, optimization and reporting. Coordinate and execute offline brand and retail communication activities and programs for the Hotels.com brand, such as print, TV, radio, tactical promotions and competitions. End to end campaign project coordination including liaising with internal and external stakeholders to get exceptional work to market on time and on budget. Work with agencies on brief development. Development and delivery of online creative, working with our in-house and external design and development team. Drive innovation in the APAC region for social media initiatives to compliment Hotels.com brand growth, including but not limited to content and service and management and execution of advertising campaigns. Coordinate and execute activities with third party agencies including PR agency, creative agency, research agency, digital media agency, social media agency and media buying agency. Work with CRM team on newsletter communication. Plan and execute email acquisition marketing activities and partnerships within budget. Periodic maintenance of existing affiliate partners to optimize partnership. Roll out seasonal partner promotional marketing campaigns. Ensure partners receive creative and tracking in a timely manner to promote tactical campaigns. Be up to speed on latest product development of affiliate tools and be prepared to share the knowledge with existing partners for usability and conversion improvement. Measure and analyze performance of partners and campaigns to diagnose area in need of attention and propose improvement or ideas to strengthen site usage. Work closely with analytics and partner marketing team on the best approach. Adopt a strong ROI focused approach on all marketing activities to optimize marketing learning's, effectiveness and efficiency. Weekly and monthly reporting to manage and optimize campaigns. Management of coupon tool requests, approval, testing and management. Monthly accounts reconciliation.

Job Requirements:

Skills and experience The ideal candidate will have: University Degree in Business or Marketing; Minimum of 3-5 years marketing experience with recent primary responsibility for developing and executing multi-faceted online and offline marketing campaigns for consumer brand(s), with demonstrated track-record of successes Demonstrated customer focus, creative thinking and passion for marketing is a must Excellent communication and organisational skills Demonstrated ability to work on a wide variety of projects simultaneously under deadline Exceptional attention to detail Self-starter/works on own initiative Professional, "get it done" attitude and work ethic. Energy, creativity, and passion for building a sustainable competitive advantage and new custom Results driven with a proven track record of delivering business value Experience using Omniture Site Analysis, Hitwise, Discover, Marin, Business Objects or other online analytics systems.
