Position Description: Supervisor, Fraud Operations
The eCommerce Risk team is seeking a highly motivated Fraud Operations Supervisor to oversee a team of analysts mitigating fraud on Expedia, Inc. businesses both domestically and internationally. The Fraud Operations team is staffed 24 hours a day globally. Applicants must be flexible with their schedule, having the ability to work non-traditional shifts as well as some holidays. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Job Duties
- Establishing appropriate staffing levels and metrics, and managing performance to ensure proper support of business needs.
- Managing all day-to-day operational decisions.
- Providing management reporting and metrics as required.
- Developing all departmental policies and procedures.
- Assisting during planning and implementation stages of new products, programs and services.
- Assisting in data analysis for adjustment of scoring algorithms on proprietary risk models.
- Prioritizing resolution of bugs, projects, and technical issues.
- Ensuring the accuracy of fraud data, to include derogatory information, scoring model weights, and indicators.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Performing all fraud analyst functions, including analysis of high-risk purchases/transactions, to develop and maintain an understanding of processes and procedures required to perform the job.

Job Requirements:


- Strong communication skills, self-motivation and results-oriented approach.
- Maintain professionalism at all times while on company premises and/or while representing Expedia, Inc.
- Demonstrated customer service, organizational, and analytical skill.
- Confidence in making instinctual decisions with little or no supervision.
- Enjoys working in fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Flexibility to adapt and able to manage multiple assignments while working independently.
- Abide strictly by the company data protection policies safe guarding confidential and personal information.
- Strong internet research, Microsoft Office, and overall PC skills, SQL experience a plus.
- Requires shift-work, including weekends, non-business hours, and holidays.
- May require more than 8 hours per day/40 hours per week.
- May be requested to work on non-scheduled days.
Work Experience and Education Guidelines:
- Managerial experience highly preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred and/or related experience.
- 1 - 2 years operational supervisory experience.
- Minimum 3 years customer service experience, preferably in fraud, chargebacks, or the travel industry.
