Position Description

Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and directing the activity of the quality assurance team. This position will oversee the audit process of assigned business segments within GPP and report results on a timely basis. The Supervisor is responsible for the directing the audit process and reporting of errors and common trends to operations leadership. The Supervisor will partner with the Learning and Development Team and business teams to identify gaps in process documentation and will interface with operations leadership on a regular basis to discuss trends in quality identified in the course of the audit process. The Supervisor will direct the work of the Quality Assurance Coordinators and provide for their development as individuals, fostering an environment of continuous improvement. The Supervisor will take on additional assignments and/or special projects as directed by the leadership team and demonstrate good judgment in selecting appropriate methods for obtaining solutions.

Responsibilities:
Plan and execute the workload of your team to maximize productivity and meet service level agreements.
Meet regularly with leadership to present trending data for quality within their teams.
Identify additional opportunities to provide quality assurance services to other functions within GFO.
Ensure all QA Coordinators are auditing for compliance with policy and procedures.
Ensure QA Coordinators are accurately reporting findings and documenting appropriately.
Maintain and update quality assurance database to ensure timely reporting of quality metrics.
Ensure proper reporting and review of audits for compliance with department standards.
Ensure proactive and timely coaching and counseling are provided to team members to ensure professionalism and performance criteria are adhered to.
Encourage and motivate your team to achieve business goals.
Make recommendations and contribute towards training content for team members.
Communicate with staff and collaborate with peers on process flows and recommendation for improvement.
Identify process-cycle errors through audit and/or review of procedures and recommend areas for improvement.
Participate and attend leadership meetings and ensure regular team meetings and bi-weekly employee 1:1's are occurring.

Job Requirements:


Work Experience and Education Guidelines:
Four year college/university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field (preferred)
2+ years of work experience in accounting, accounts payable, account receivable, or auditing
3+ years of leadership experience with staff responsibility of 6+ non-exempt employees.

Core Competencies:
Exceptional organization, communication, written and time management skills
Strong leadership, change management and business acumen
Work with minimal supervision, alone or within a team environment

Experienced with all MS professional applications including MS Access, Visio, and Excel preferred
Ability to work extended hours/ weekends and travel as business needs warrant
