Position Description

This GPP Recovery Supervisor position is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of a GPP Recover teams. This position oversees the day-to-day operations within the Department, specific to the recovery process for Expedia Virtual Card overcharges. In addition, the Supervisor will utilize professional skills, a solid comprehension of related industry practices and company policies and procedures to address and resolve problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. This position will need to demonstrate good judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. The Supervisor is also responsible for team management including interviewing, making hiring decisions, coaching and counseling, performance metrics, attendance & overtime monitoring, people development, and ensuring positive employee morale.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of GPP Recovery Coordinators
- Address and resolve problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Select appropriate methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Communicate with staff and collaborate with peers on process flow and recommendations for improvement
- Escalate issues as necessary related to systems performance and 'bugs'
- Assist in development of business requirements and test cases for enhancements and new functionality requests
- Make recommendations and contribute towards training content for team members
- Plan and execute the workload of the team to maximize performance and meet service level agreements
- Report and review metrics for compliance with department
- Review and respond to audit findings and address deficiencies
- Ensure successful transition of new hires from training environment to production
- Provide proactive and timely coaching and counseling to team members to ensure professionalism and performance criteria are adhered to
- Encourage and motivate team to achieve business goals
- Ensure company and departmental policies are followed
- Meet departmental goals/expectations/deadlines
- Host regular team meetings and employee 1:1's
- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:


- Education: High School Diploma (college degree preferred)
- 3+ years of financial and/or accounting experience
- 3+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in a high volume department with staff responsibility of 5 to 20 non-exempt employees
- Experienced with all MS office applications, Adobe, Access/SQL databases, 10 key and typing proficiency, and PeopleSoft experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills, ability to manage change, and professional work ethic
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Thorough in approach with attention to detail
- Strong organization skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision, alone or within a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work extended hours/weekends and travel as business needs warrant
