Position Description Position Overview: Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) is seeking an experienced and talented Regional Head of Partner:Connect, APAC. The regional head of Partner:Connect will work very closely with the global Director of Partner:Connect, will report directly into the Director of Partner:Connect and be the the sole representative for the team, in region, acting as a lead across all its functions. The regional head of Partner:Connect will be the link between the business and all of the major teams within, driving transparency and acting as an escalation point for issues in region. They will also act as an intermediary between Partner:Connect and Partner:Support as the regional team will act as a support, launch and Optimisation function. A passion for travel, a passion for technology and technology expertise combined with excellent management, communication skills and business acumen are critical to Regional Head of Partner:Connect success. Key Deliverables The specifics of the role are as follows, but not limited to: Manage the regional Partner:Connect team and all its daily functions Assess regional process for all Partner:Connect functions and its current effectivenessDefine and implement a clear escalation process for regional support, ensuring that the Partner:Support team are involved and approve of defined process Work very closely with the regional VP of sales to understand key areas of improvement, define and implement changes where applicable If required, define new process based on assessment Implement process in region and ensure that the process has the buy in from the relevant departments it effects Working with the regional VP of sales, ensure clear communication, at all times, increasing awareness of all functions within the Partner:Connect team Work closely with the entire sales team in region ensuring they have all necessary support where required Be the main escalation point, in region, for all teams requiring the support of Partner:Connect Coordinate resolutions of issues and communicate status updates of resolutions to all required teams Remain visible to the regional business units at all times ensuring a top tier level of service is maintained Whilst launch management will remain an externally managed resource (Head of Launch Management) you are required to: Maintain a close working relationship with the regional Launch Manager Ensure each Integration Consultant works efficiently with each launch and maintains clear communication with the Launch Manager and the sales team at all times Organise and cascade to relevant team members, all Optimisation opportunities per quarter and coordinate the collation of results on a quarterly basis Funnel all Optimisation results into Director Partner:Connect in a timely manner Work closely with the Head of Optimisation Strategy to coordinate additional Optimisation projects and cascade to relevant team members to actionWork closely with partners and attend meetings at partner offices Ensure that each project maintains continuity and deliverables are achieved on time and in accordance to requirements outlined by the Head of Optimisation Strategy

Job Requirements:

Qualifications: - Extensive experience of managing geographically distributed teams - Extensive experience of working in client facing roles - Experience of working with APIs and SQL as related to other programming languages - Solutions oriented - Ability to communicate to a technical and none technical audience - Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems - Excellent oral/written communication skills - Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment - Familiarity with web-based and mobile based product development and understanding of typical technology architecture for high-volume web sites - Fluent in oral/written English. - Qualified candidates will have visited and interacted with the following sites before interviewing for this position: company website developer.ean.com support.ean.com - available for up to 30% travel per year Work Experience and Education Guidelines: - Bachelor's degree (Science Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred) - Technical consultant or program management experience preferred in Online Travel Core Competencies: - Customer Focus - Problem Solving/Judgment - Organizational Effectiveness About Expedia, Inc.
