We are looking for a smart, detail-oriented team player to join our HR team as Senior Analyst, Compensation. This role reports to the Director of HR Operations, and is responsible for the management and administration of our compensation and benefits programs. The goal is to ensure that priceline's total compensation package support the Company's business strategy, culture and philosophy and help us attract and retain the best talent.

The position requires evaluating, developing and securing the most competitive benefits and compensation programs possible within the parameters of the company's resources. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A thorough understanding of the benefits and compensation market to proactively guide the Company's total rewards programs.
  • Hands on expertise in communicating, promoting and assisting employees at all levels with benefit related information.
  • Experience working on routine and complex HR tasks/projects with general guidance and supervision.
  • Great knowledge and understanding of HRIS systems and reporting.

Job Requirements:

  • Administers all benefits plans and employee leaves of absence.
  • Initiates all benefits/HRIS communications. Establishes ongoing employee benefit education and communications.
  • Works with brokers on renewal activities including plan design and execution.
  • Manages external vendor relationships.
  • Reconciles vendor accounts, payments and data uploads, while interfacing with Finance and HRIS.
  • Plans and executes quarterly wellness program activities.
  • REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    • Thorough understanding of HR practices and principles, including applicable labor, pay, benefits, health and safety laws and regulations.
    • Knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and HIPAA regulations.
    • Ability to understand current benefit & compensation trends including high deductible medical plans and self-funded HSA's.
    • Able to handle high level of confidentiality with discretion.
    • Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
    • Solid planning, time management, decision-making, and organization skills.
    • Able to independently analyze and problem solve complex HR issues.
    • Ability to build consensus through use of collaboration and influence skills.
    • Advanced knowledge/skills of MS Word, Excel, and HRIS systems, ADP preferred.
    • Advanced knowledge/skills in report writing.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, liberal arts, industrial relations, organizational development or equivalent related work experience.
    • 8-10 years progressive benefits/compensation management and administration experience, preferably in a high growth, dynamic environment that experiences frequent change.
    • Working knowledge of Workday, ADP, and general Office programs.
