Job Description:

Position Description The Global Project Manager position is a customer facing role that requires an individual with project management, organizational and problem solving skills as well as a keen attention to detail. This individual will work across multiple teams within Egencia including Product Development, Technical Support, Account Management, Service Delivery and Customer Service in order to successfully manage customer projects on time and within scope. This role will be located virtually in Eastern standard time. Responsibilities: To plan, manage and control project schedules and to oversee the completion of deliverable to schedule, using formal scheduling and project management methodologies Manage the day-to-day details of the project (coordinating with project team members and resource managers as appropriate) including the plan, schedule, resources, task assignments, scope, budget, and risks. Facilitate project meetings focused on status reporting, problem resolution, feedback, fostering open communication within the team on project planning, and execution. Maintain project management deliverables including the project plan, project schedule, status reports, meeting minutes, issue logs, and any other documentation related to the management and administration of the project. Recommend resolutions to issues and conflicts arising out of the project and dependencies to ensure the project timelines are met process at global levels Able to communicate complex and technical information in a manner that all audiences can easily understand via multiple formats, i.e. virtual and in-person Ensures that project team members have a clear understanding of timelines, tasks, risks, and issues. The ability to motivate staff assigned to the project Able to work autonomously Proven project/program experience in the IT/Software field PMP Certification preferred 3 to 5 years in a professional consulting, e-business, online marketing, or similar environment

Job Requirements:

Qualifications / Skills: PMP Certification is preferred Project and Time Management - Proven success managing multi-faceted, time sensitive projects. Communication - Impeccable skills in facilitation, written documentation, status reporting, mediation, training, and presentations. Technical - Experience working with an Online Travel Tool or Agency is preferred. Applications - High degree of proficiency in MS Excel, Project, Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Schedule Flexibility - Ability to work across multiple time zones and willing to travel on short notice. Global - Quick adaptation to multi-country/multi-cultural environments & Additional languages highly appreciated Client-facing experience required.
