Position Description

The Sr. Product Manager drives the strategy and execution of highly complex digital products and applications. They act as the business owner, participating in developing the strategy and vision for the group. They are also responsible for developing and looking after product roadmaps and working with one or more engineering teams to ensure delivery.
  • For multiple products or a significant key product line, define the long-term strategy and product plan and evangelize that vision within the organization
  • Conduct business and financial analysis necessary for a complete business model, including competitive analysis, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring and reporting
  • Monitor and track product feedback to help in the prioritization of development projects
  • Facilitate critical trade-off decisions between investment, schedule and customer benefit
  • Actively lead risk mitigation and management, lead problem resolution as issues arise
  • Build effective relationships with key internal business teams
  • Assume deep product-area or program-level responsibility and/or be primarily responsible for the relationship with one or more functions and senior executive stakeholders
  • Gather detailed business requirements from key stakeholders then document and manage stakeholder requirements and expectations
  • Build a market-leading product. Success is defined by identifying key features that drive extraordinary customer value, and drive prioritization and execution of our engineering efforts.
  • Working with the engineering and program management leads to set strategy, define the product and make the hard, high-judgement trade-offs between performance, features, and speed-to-market
  • Identify operational requirements throughout the enterprise (i.e., Finance, Customer Support, Marketing, Supplier Partners, Training, etc.) to ensure all requirements are met for the successful deployment of product features and enhancements
  • Define business requirement documents which serve as a bridge from high-level business objectives to the functional specification, based on intimate knowledge of the feature, customers and market trend
  • Work with Development Team through product development cycle to ensure product features developed meet the desired business objectives
  • Be comfortable in getting hands dirty in day-to-day tasks to get things done
  • Collaborate with business teams on training, testing, and related activities.
  • Conduct third-party product evaluation and lead integration when necessary
  • Manage the vendor relationship, including input into the vendor's roadmap and improving the business
  • Mentor product team in the day-to-day management, development, and optimization of product(s)

Job Requirements:


  • BA/BS, MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in product development and/or product management.
  • Proven success in delivering technology products in a high growth environment
  • Demonstrated experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, effectively influencing across cross functional teams.
