Position Summary :
Egencia is seeking a driven, experienced and hands-on Senior Director Marketing to lead all aspects of Egencia's strategic marketing efforts, globally. The Senior Director Marketing will be responsible for managing all strategic marketing functions to include company positioning, brand strategy, product positioning, strategic communications, and marketing communications. This role will require a significant amount of communication and coordination with partners, both inside and outside the brand. The ideal individual will be energetic, creative, highly analytical and a great team leader. We are looking for an individual with a high degree of success developing and managing all aspects of a winning marketing plan. A key criteria for success will be an ability to help Egencia to 'punch above its weight' in the industry in terms of visibility, thought leadership and overall impact leveraging integrated approaches to executive point-of-view opportunities, product investments/innovations, on-and offline collateral, PR and social media. Key Responsibilities & Experiences:
Marketing and Brand Strategy
  • Act as thought-leader, change-agent and master of getting great work done.
  • Drive Egencia's 'expert' status in the market through speakers' initiatives, whitepaper development, and core marketing and public relations outreach.
  • Own B2B positioning, branding, messaging, segmentation and category marketing strategy.
  • Responsible for all aspects of external communications: consumer communications, industry relations, media relations, sales campaigns, partner programs, channel programs, and marketing metrics.
  • Continuously collaborate with sales to refine comprehensive go-to-market plan across geographies, channels and market segments. Work with sales teams to define key selling propositions that will translate into all sales and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure product provides maximum value to audience segments. Work with Product teams on product launch planning and execution.

Customer Marketing & Communications
  • Ensure rigor and discipline across company-wide programs that support superior customer experience and revenue growth.
  • Oversee the integration of marketing, brand planning, creative development and marketing management.
  • Leverage market & competitive research to help segment and define target markets and categories, refine and improve the product value proposition and implement the best market-penetration strategy.
  • Work closely with team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive growth for target segments through complete customer lifecycle.
  • Manage content and flow of all outbound communications.
  • Integrate feedback from Customer Service/Success and customer research into product experience, site functionality and sales channel experiences.
  • Guide development of content: presentations, one-pagers, case studies, research reports, webinars, blog posts, and social media.

E-commerce
  • Develop and execute vision and strategy for e-commerce channel that encompasses product, marketing and site design.
  • Develop and execute a light-weight business strategy that optimizes traffic conversion.
  • Direct team in the collaboration and development of merchandising and demand planning/sales forecasting.
  • Ensure the day-to-day effectiveness of site content, merchandising, navigation, search functionality and product presentation maximizes customer experience.
  • Provide on-going tracking and analysis of customer on-site behavior through market and competitive analysis and review and measurement of site analytics.

Marketing Operations
  • Drive lead campaigns to grow revenue / drive new sales.
  • Drive campaigns to ensure client retention.
  • Be a great leader, coach, and manager to marketing organization.
  • Plan and manage the marketing budget.
  • Measure, monitor and report marketing performance.
