  • Will have proven DMPK experience and knowledge to provide guidance for small molecule, peptide and biologics programs in the ADME portfolio from early Discovery through post-marketing. Will bring a competitive mindset, with strong focus on differentiation vs. the competition.
  • Will bring strong collaboration and communication skills to partner effectively across PPDM, Discovery, Translational Pharmacology, Clinical Research, Regulatory and Safety Assessment & Laboratory Animal Research to ensure alignment on strategy and tactics for discovery, development and registration.
  • Will have the experience to review critically and ensure appropriate content of both non-clinical PK and clinical pharmacology regulatory documents (including INDs, Common Technical Documents, and labels) including deep mechanistic pharmacokinetics and drug-drug interaction expertise.
  • Will work closely with the external scientific partners (academic, other companies and Regulators) to advance DMPK and translational science, influence the regulatory environment, and maintain a highly visible external profile for Merck.
  • Will coach and mentor ADME scientists on discovery, development and regulatory science and strategy.
