  • Provide Strategic Pricing Leadership to Senior Franchise, Regional and Subsidiary Management - Recommend ex-US pricing strategies for all oncology biosimilar products on the basis of the economic, competitive, and regulatory realities throughout the world, as well as the value propositions for individual products. Formulate arguments, develop recommendations and seek approval from Oncology Senior Leadership Team and Merck Bioventures for specific strategies designed to enhance the success and profitability of the Merck Oncology biosimilar portfolio at the regional and global level. Educate Franchise Management on pricing theory and advise on the formulation and implementation of pricing and contracting strategies. Take an overarching look at pricing throughout the world for biosimilars to identify and assess global price trends that could impact long-term profitability.
  • Lead Oncology Biosimilar New Product Pricing Recommendations - Conduct an environmental assessment and validation via payer ad board of the EU and Key Emerging Markets for biosimilars and particularly Oncology Biosimilars to provide pricing analysis, strategy formulations, evaluations, and recommendations, as needed to support the business.
  • Coordination with Regional Oncology Pricing and Health Economics Team (CORE)-Identify dossier requirements to obtain reimbursement for Oncology Biosimilar and ensure appropriate resourcing for key deliverables from the Global Health Economics and Real World Evidence teams (CORE). Identify appropriate local resourcing with Regional Pricing team top optimize local execution of contracting strategies.
  • Support Contracting Implementation- Support Regional and Local Access teams in the implementation of contracting strategies for Oncology Biosimilar portfolio
