Drawing on American Express's loyalty expertise, in May 2015 the US Loyalty team launched Plenti, the first coalition loyalty program in the US. Plenti is a payment-agnostic program where you can earn points with one participating merchant and use them at another, which is a unique value proposition for the American market. This Commerce Platforms team is responsible for driving commerce through various channels.



This Manager / Senior Manager, Commerce Platforms will support driving growth of the Household Offers channel by identifying, developing and implementing channel enhancements to optimize performance. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting efforts to find and source new content to enable more commerce across the Plenti platform and partnering with the Technologies Team on program-level investment management processes.

Job Responsibilities:



- Supporting the management the Household Offers channel in the Plenti program
- Partnering with key internal and external stakeholders to optimize channel performance
- Collaborating with channel teams on design and execution of a range of member engagement assets across channels, including email, app and web to drive enhanced product level offer understanding and engagement
- Developing comprehensive KPI reports / dashboards to enable sound business and offer planning


- Partnering with Business Development team to pursue new relationships to deliver incremental content to the Household Offers Channel
- Developing and executing the strategy to onboard new content verticals into the Plenti program

- Partnering with Technologies Team on program-level investment management processes

Required Skills/Qualifications:



- Proven track record of managing a set of metrics over time

- Strong partner / vendor management skills

- Analytical and data-driven person and comfortable with modeling business plans & scenarios

- Baseline technical and capabilities knowledge (especially web and app)

- Loyalty marketing and/or direct marketing expertise, preferably with a retailer or CPG

- Exceptional communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally across the organization and with external partners

- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional workstreams

- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset comfortable operating in a 'start up' environment

- Ability to work under pressure

- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

- MBA Preferred
