This technical leadership position is responsible for the direct management of the EA Product Engineering Team, accountable for all technical aspects of the EA product portfolio, including development, delivery, service quality, strategic planning and people management. Product portfolio includes (but is not limited to) AIM, Enterprise Blueprint Portal (EBP), Reusable Asset Catalog / Solution Marketplace, Azure, Java Reference Architecture, and .net Reference Architecture. Responsibilities indlue: - Driving EA tool innovation and managing product development teams within a fast paced, agile environment - Cultivating an environment of continuous engineering improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics - Recruiting and retain top engineering talent - Seting and executing product direction while working in parallel with peer Staff Architects and Staff Engineers - Engaging in hands-on design and delivery to ensure alignment of strategy, architecture, and tools/methods with product roadmaps - Coaching, guiding and promoting the creation of high quality, clearly documented, and compliant deliverables across the EA product engineering team. - Collaborate within and across business units to prioritize, plan, and execute the development schedule for major product releases - Enabling team and platform integration in support of key product initiatives

Job Requirements:

6+ years of experience managing software engineering teams, designing and building software products in a fast paced, complex and dynamic product development environment. - Extensive hands-on experience building and managing the development of complex, large scale enterprise applications and products that require a deep understanding of application logic and dependencies - Proven experience attracting, hiring, retaining and leading top engineering talent and high performance product engineering teams (I.e. FTEs, not contractors) - Prior experience building out platforms or capabilities in a product developmentcompany, preferably SaaS, PaaS, or Mobile - Experience with Agile, Scrum or other rapid application development methodologies is required - Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related field required, advanced degree preferred - Able to share technology subject matter expertise with architects and other engineers across multiple organizations - Able to gain cooperation from peers for projects and initiatives within own and adjacent platforms - Technical background with Java, .net, Azure and/or comparable environments. - Ability to adapt solution architecture to meet broader needs of the enterprise, solving unique problems that span multiple technology platforms - Routinely introduces new and impactful technologies based on research, POC efforts and independent investigation - Regularly provides specialized technical guidance to others in work area Deep knowledge of front end, middleware and backend technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, IOS, Web Services, Java - Ability to build and leverage strong relationships with business and technology partners
