Our Finance team is searching for a talented Sr. Manager, Financial Reporting & Controls – Supply Chain. This position will report to the Sr. Manager II of Financial Reporting & Controls – Supply Chain and will work closely with the Director of Financial Reporting & Controls to recommend accounting treatments and suggest guidance to management and business partners. This Sr. Manager is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of all Walmart.com Supply Chain (Inventory, Reverse Logistics, Cost of Goods Sold, Transportation, Fulfillment, etc.) transactions into the financial statements, including but not limited to, P&Ls, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows. This position manages a team who provides accounting guidance to business partners and renders opinions on the financial impact of business initiatives and collaborates with business partners to achieve shared objectives and goals. This position will evaluate the controls environment for Walmart.com by providing policies and procedures, evaluating internal controls and assessing risks for Accounting and various other areas. The Supply Chain team initiates and participates in the scoping, design, development and implementation of new and updates to existing systems impacting financial transactions, reporting and related controls at Walmart.com.

Management (30 %) Supervise and manage the daily activities of full-time associates, which include providing actionable feedback to associates on a regular and timely basis to ensure timely and accurate deliverables. Set quarterly performance goals and conduct annual performance reviews. Provide growth and learning opportunities for associate development and career progression. Review and document key dependencies (i.e. reports, systems, processes, etc.) to test transactions, assess the adequacy of current controls and recommend improvements.

Financial Reporting, Analysis and Decision Support (30%) Manage the preparation of all supply chain related month-end information. This includes a high level understanding of all supply chain transaction flows into the financial statements, including but not limited to, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, systems feeds, etc. Review and understand all material journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations; and manage a watch list / risk and opportunities list of balance sheet items within a tight month-end close, FP&A forecast cycle, and Home Office consolidation deadlines. Developing a strong working relationship with Wal-Mart's Global Shared Services center for transactions impacting Walmart.com and overseas Extended Financial Organization to support Walmart.com deliverables. Review Walmart.com reports, research anomalies and discrepancies to explain variances in COGS, inventory and other supply chain related P&L/balance Sheet items.

Projects and Business Partnering (20%) Represent the Accounting and Controllership perspective in new and improvement/enhancement projects initiated by various business teams like, Accounting, Supply Chain / Logistics (SCL) and Distribution Center Operations (DC Ops). Support improvement initiatives by presenting and recommending best practices. Oversee and review the development of detailed supply chain flows that incorporate systems, operations, reporting and accounting to identify opportunities with processes and controls and to recommend solutions. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to Inventory Purchases, Ending Inventory, Warehouse Management Systems, Return Centers, Reverse Logistics.

Inventory Valuation and Custody (20%) Responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating the controls environment over Owned Inventory and Return Center Inventory. Understand Walmart.com's network of Owned Inventory Distribution Center locations and Return Center facilities.
