  • Directs digital advocacy operations by prioritizing feature programming, defining marketing communications to support advocacy features, integrating input from key sources (for example, constituents, Marketing, Steering Committee, vendors) into product roadmap and resource allocations, and overseeing vendors, programmers, and development team.
  • Oversees marketing of digital advocacy websites and web platforms by managing on-line tools (for example, banner ads, linking strategies, paid search, text ads), directing content management (for example, framing, presentation, messaging), directing management of advocacy database, and advising on web platform feature set and functionality (for example, online experience, audience engagement).
  • Oversees digital advocacy relationships by advising on web platform features and functionality (for example, online experience, audience engagement), overseeing efforts to build buy-in and commitment to digital advocacy strategies, building relationships with key constituents and stakeholders at Walmart.com, Walmartstores.com, Mywalmart.com, and corporate web properties, participating in advocacy associations, coalitions, and organizations, and partnering with cross-functional teams (for example, Marketing, Product Development, Legal, Walmart ISD).
  • Directs digital advocacy strategy by developing vision for internal and external advocacy digital platforms, monitoring and managing responses to websites and blogs critical of Walmart, company leadership, and policies, directing recruitment, training, and engagement of third-party responders, forecasting and reporting website metrics (for example, traffic, engagement, conversion), developing strategic communications and messaging to mitigate damage to company's reputation, and developing rapid response, outreach, and third-party validation plans for crisis communications events.
  • Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps, recruiting, selecting, and developing talent, supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning, and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.
  • Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices, developing consequences for violations or non-compliance, and supporting the Open Door Policy.
  • Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives, engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives, and supporting associate efforts in these areas.
  • Provides overall direction for digital outreach and engagement by analyzing business objectives and customer needs, developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices, analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans, determining and supporting resource requirements, evaluating operational processes, measuring outcomes to ensure desired results, identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities, promoting a customer environment, and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning.
